The freshly revised Skoda Enyaq is currently one of the more sought-after electric cars on the market and if you look at the technical data and design, it is not surprising. Good range, plenty of space and strong performance at a fair price make the Enyaq an excellent overall package, but if the electric SUV doesn't appeal to you, there are also numerous comparable vehicles. Here are the best alternatives to the Skoda Enyaq.
1. Tesla Model Y

The Tesla Model Y is the perennial favorite in the American manufacturer's range, and for good reason. With plenty of space, long range and its coupé-like shape, the Model Y has found numerous fans. Here, too, a whole new facelift beckons with the Tesla Model Y Juniper, but it is not yet available for sale in Germany. Nevertheless, you can't really do much wrong with the "old" Tesla Model Y at this price.
2. Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 also enters the race with a fresh facelift. With a new, larger battery and the 800 volt base of the EV6, range and charging times are clearly strengths of the Korean. The futuristic design with eye-catching lights and light signature, as well as the strongly stylized rear end must of course please, but the generous space speaks for itself in addition to the good price-performance ratio.
3. Hyundai Ioniq 5

The next Korean in our list of alternatives is the Hyundai Ioniq 5. With a massive appearance and an 800-volt architecture, it can easily compete with the common models. Due to the long wheelbase, it also offers plenty of interior space for passengers and luggage, offering up to 325 hp and even all-wheel drive. The latest technology since the 2024 facelift makes the Hyundai Ioniq 5 a real star among the alternatives.

4. VW ID.4

The VW ID.4 is of course closely related to its group brother from the Czech Republic, but is even closer to the Tiguan than to the Skoda. The design of the ID.4 is more eye-catching than the Enyaq, but under the hood, the Enyaq has the advantage with its fresh facelift. Especially in terms of battery and range, the Skoda is likely to outperform the VW. If design and price are more important, however, the slightly older ID.4 offers an exciting alternative to the Enyaq.
5. BMW ix3

The BMW iX3 is the Munich-based company's premium range of mid-range electric SUVs. Although the iX3 is a bit outdated and is to be replaced by a New Class model in 2025, it offers proven design, great handling and strong performance. The weak point of the iX3 is the outdated battery, whose range and charging power can no longer quite keep up with the newer models. Nevertheless, the iX3 is a good premium option for those interested.
6. Audi Q4 e-tron

With the Audi Q4 e-tron, we now come to the alternative from Ingolstadt. As a typical premium representative, the Q4 e-tron entices with its elaborate interior and new technology. Nevertheless, the extra is of course with a decent plus in price. The new, cheaper entry-level variant then comes with a weaker battery and less range, so you have to think carefully about whether the four rings are worth the price.

7. BYD Seal U

With the BYD Seal U, a Chinese car can also be found in our list of alternatives. Above all, the BYD scores in the price-performance calculation with its very good equipment and a long warranty. Steering wheel heating, panoramic roof, assistance systems and more are all part of the standard equipment. Together with a solid "blade" battery and sufficient range, the BYD Seal U is a good and inexpensive offer.
8. Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford Mustang? In an SUV comparison? In the meantime, yes, after all, the Ford Mustang Mach-E no longer has much to do with the original muscle cars from America, but is rather an SUV crossover of electric mobility. What they still have in common is the strong engine power, which reaches up to 487 hp in the new Mustang. Otherwise, it is comfortably furnished inside, so that there is enough space for a family, and the infotainment is also modern. The biggest point of criticism is the weak range of the Mustang.

9. Genesis GV60

The third Korean among the alternatives is the Genesis GV60, the premium offshoot of the Hyundai Group. High-quality workmanship, an 800-volt architecture and up to 490 hp of power are strong arguments in favor of the Genesis. Unfortunately, the GV60 costs a lot and starts at list prices of 53,400 euros. On the other hand, it is also slightly shorter than the Enyaq and offers less space in the back and in the trunk. For buyers with high demands and without these requirements for space, however, the Genesis is a good and more unusual choice.
10. Nissan Ariya

In 10th place is the only Japanese among our alternatives, the Nissan Ariya. This shines above all with coupé-like design, a minimalist design and fun handling. However, the Nissan has weaknesses in the battery and the space, both of which do not quite come close to the competition. those who can overlook these negative points will get an attractive SUV offer from Nissan.
